Painting with light: Filmography as Gaffer

Fall 2006 - Homeland, Gaffer on this feature film. SDI Video. Shot in and around NYC, this story-driven picture was Produced and Directed by Michael Eldridge and his Barataria Productions. The story was penned by Brad Rothschild; and produced in partnership with Bigfoot Productions, who joined the effort to realize this ambitious project. Currently in post-production.

Fall 2006 - 1 800 Flowers, Gaffer on commercial. 35mm Film. Filmed on location at the company headquaters with company president Jim McCann on the floor of their main showroom. Also filmed tabletop shots of the full litany of Holiday season Flower arrangements.

Summer 2006 - Manhattan Kiwi, Gaffer on this highly-stylized short film. HD Video. On location and in studio, Director Luke Mayes and DP Marc Gamboa wanted to use all the tricks and tools available to inject energy into this short with a shocker ending. Currently in post-production; to be released under the production banner of Redshift Pictures.

Summer 2006 - Ritz Camera, Gaffer on commercial. 35mm Film. Production company 30 FPS created studio shoot for commercial that takes place on still photo shoot. Worked closely with DP and still photographer to accommodate both their needs; the still photos were used for Client's camera catolog. This task was made slightly easier by the presence of Ritz spokesmodel Carmen Electra.
